Day
1 - Istanbul / Bolu
Arrival
at Istanbul Atatürk Airport. Meet with local representative
and transfer to city for a half day tour of Istanbul
including the Blue Mosque, famous for its blue tiles and
unique with its six minarets, built in the name of Sultan
Ahmet I. Next we will have a look at the Hippodrome of
Constantinople where horse and chariot races used to take
place, then visit the St. Sophia Museum which is one of the
greatest religious and architectural marvels of all times.
After lunch, long distance transfer to Bolu. Dinner and
overnight. (L,D)
Day
2 - Bolu / Ankara / Cappadocia
After
breakfast drive to Cappadocia via Ankara, the capital city
of Turkey. Lunch on the way. In the afternoon, we will visit
the Selçuk Agzikarahan Caravanserai and natural citadel of
Uçhisar. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B,L,D)
Day
3 - Cappadocia
During
the day we will visit the Valleys of Göreme to explore the
unusual troglodyte dwellings, remains of early churches,
some decorated with scratched frescoes and complicated rooms
hollowed out of the cones of volcanic ash. Later we will be
visiting and taking lovely pictures of Zelve Valley and
underground city of Kaymakli, and onto Ortahisar and Avanos.
Return to the hotel and overnight. (B,L,D)

Day
4 - Cappadocia / Konya / Pamukkale
Early
in the morning, we drive to Konya and visit the Mausoleum of
Mevlana. Lunch will be served on the way. Arrive in
Pamukkale with its unique formation of petrified calcium
cliffs. Dinner and overnight in Pamukkale where you can
enjoy the hot-spring swimming pools at the hotel. (B,L,D)
Day
5 - Pamukkale / Izmir
After
breakfast, we visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. Then we
drive to Selçuk. Our first stop will be the House of Virgin
Mary. Next, we will visit the historical Ephesus, the pearl
of ancient cities. Highlights here will be the Library of
Celsius, Odeon and the Theater. After visit, lunch will be
served in Selçuk township. Drive to Izmir for dinner and
overnight. (B,L,D)
Day
6 - Izmir / Canakkale
After
breakfast, long distance drive to Canakkale. Lunch at a
local restaurant. Dinner and overnight in Canakkale. (B,L,D)
Day
7 - Canakkale / Istanbul
After
breakfast, drive to Istanbul. Lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, visit the famous Topkapi Palace museum, which
was built as the home of the Ottoman sultans. The World
Famous Imperial Jewelry and Chinese Porcelain sections will
be visited. Last stop will be Grand Bazaar after where we
check in at hotel. Dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)
Day
8 - Istanbul
Free
until transfer time. Transfer to Istanbul Atatürk Airport
for flight back to home. (B)
