DAY 1 TUESDAY DURBAN - ZULULAND:
08h00 Depart Durban after breakfast for rural Zululand. Visit a Zulu village for a presentation of Zulu history, etiquette and tradition, including authentic Zulu food for lunch. Continue on to Hluhluwe for a game drive before dinner. NOTE: Overnight may be in the Itala Nature Reserve for certain departures.

DAY 2 WEDNESDAY ZULULAND - SWAZILAND:
After an early breakfast travel through beautiful countryside and enter the Kingdom of Swaziland. Visit a Swazi Candle factory before reaching the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 THURSDAY SWAZILAND - MALELANE:
After breakfast visit the Ngwenya glass factory before departing Swaziland. Travel to the Kruger National Park on a scenic route via Piggs Peak. Spend the afternoon relaxing at our hotel just outside the Park or enjoy a game drive (optional & for own account).

DAY 4 FRIDAY MALELANE - KRUGER NATIONAL PARK - MALELANE:
After early morning tea or coffee depart in an open-vehicle game drive, including a packed breakfast. While searching for the “Big Five” you have the opportunity of enjoying prolific bird life and numerous other game. Visitors soon appreciate the challenges of managing this unique reserve. Return to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure or enjoy a further game drive (optional & for own account).

DAY 5 SATURDAY MPUMALANGA:
Depart the hotel early, taking a packed breakfast along. Drive through the Park and exit before mid day. Travel along the scenic Panorama Route, visiting God’s Window, and the Blyde River Canyon. Arrive at a hotel in the Hazeyview area for dinner and overnight.

 

SABI SABI OPTION  You may decide to take the Sabi Sabi Luxury Option for Day 3 and 4.   Safaris at Sabi Sabi are a UNIQUE African experience. Guided by your knowledgeable and experienced ranger and skilled Shangaan tracker, (FGASA accredited), guests begin an adventure to spot a myriad of wild animals including, but not limited to, the big 5, leopard, lion, rhino, elephant and buffalo. The graceful impala, dazzling zebra and other unique African game will be encountered. Day 4 SABI SABI OPTION: MALELANE - SABI SABI 10h30: Meet Sabi Rangers. Transfer to lodge for lunch and afternoon game drive. Overnight Sabi Sabi on a full board basis. Day 5  SABI SABI OPTION: SABI SABI - KRUGER NATIONAL PARK - MPUMALANGA 06h00 Early morning game drive. Breakfast before rejoining main tour. Afternoon at leisure. Continue on itinerary.

DAY 6 SUNDAY JOHANNESBURG:
Depart for the final leg of the tour, towards Johannesburg where the tour ends on arrival. Passengers can be dropped off, on request, at Johannesburg International Airport at +- 16h30. IMPORTANT: VALID PASSPORTS ARE REQUIRED as the 6 Day Rhino Tour (SDJ-6) passes through Swaziland. Certain passport holders require visas. Please check this with your agent before your departure. The onus is on passengers to ensure that all their documents are in order.
