1 SUNDAY
JOHANNESBURG:
Passengers arriving at Johannesburg
International Airport will be met by
a representative of Springbok Atlas
and transferred to the Holiday Inn
Garden Court Sandton City or
similar. Accommodation is on a bed
and breakfast basis. The rest of the
day is at leisure. (Unescorted)

2 MONDAY
JOHANNESBURG - MPUMALANGA:
(Depart on the Buffalo Tour) 08h00
After an early breakfast depart
Johannesburg and travel to
Mpumalanga province. The routing
includes spectacular scenery - Blyde
River Canyon and God’s Window.
Overnight near Hazyview.

3 TUESDAY MPUMALANGA
- KRUGER NATIONAL PARK - MALELANE:
This morning there is a very early
start in order to enter the Kruger
National Park for a morning of game
viewing. Enjoy a packed breakfast in
the Park. While searching for the
“Big Five” there’s the
opportunity of enjoying prolific
bird life and numerous other game.
Spend the afternoon relaxing at our
next hotel, just outside the park.
Afternoon open vehicle game drives
(optional & for own account).

4 WEDNESDAY
MALELANE - KRUGER NATIONAL PARK:
After early morning coffee or tea,
depart on an open vehicle game drive
through Kruger National Park. During
the morning there is a rest stop,
where there is a packed breakfast to
enjoy. Return to the hotel to relax
for the afternoon. Late afternoon
game drives are available (optional
& for own account).

SABI SABI OPTION
You may decide to take the Sabi Sabi
Luxury Option for Day 3 and
4.
Safaris
at Sabi Sabi are a UNIQUE African
experience. Guided by your
knowledgeable and experienced ranger
and skilled Shangaan tracker, (FGASA
accredited), guests begin an
adventure to spot a myriad of wild
animals including, but not limited
to, the big 5, leopard, lion, rhino,
elephant and buffalo. The graceful
impala, dazzling zebra and other
unique African game will be
encountered.
Day 3
MPUMALANGA - SABI SABI
10h30: Meet Sabi Rangers and
transfer to lodge 13h00: Lunch at
Sabi Sabi 16h00: Afternoon game
drive. Dinner Overnight Sabi Sabi on
a full board basis

4 SABI
SABI - KRUGER NATIONAL PARK -
MALELANE
06h00: Early morning game drive
followed by breakfast 09h45: Depart
for Skukuza Airport 10h30: Coach
meets ‘Sabi’ passengers at
Skukuza Airport and transfer to
Malelane 13h00: Arrive at Malelane.
Afternoon at leisure. Continue on
itinerary

5 THURSDAY
MALELANE - SWAZILAND:
After an early breakfast travel
through beautiful countryside and
enter the Kingdom of Swaziland.
Visit the Ngwenya glass factory
before reaching the hotel. Spend the
late afternoon relaxing, or visit a
nearby craft market. Dinner and
overnight.

6 FRIDAY
SWAZILAND - ZULULAND:
After breakfast we continue south
through Swaziland, visiting a well
known Swazi candle factory before
re-entering South Africa. Travel on
to Hluhluwe for dinner and
overnight. Note: Overnight may be in
Itala Nature Reserve for certain
departures.
DAY
7 SATURDAY
ZULULAND - DURBAN:
Begin the day with an early morning
game drive. Departing Hluhluwe the
journey continues towards Durban.
Arrive at a traditional Zulu village
in time for lunch and a show
displaying local culture. Visit the
Indian Ocean resort of Umhlanga,
before continuing the journey, to
arrive in Durban late in the
afternoon.

8 SUNDAY
DURBAN:
A day at leisure in Durban
(unescorted). Why not take a
Springbok Atlas Day Tour? (optional
& for own account) Enjoy the
beautiful beaches, and explore the
markets.

9 MONDAY
DURBAN - PORT ELIZABETH:
Transfer to Durban airport for
flight to Port Elizabeth. Passengers
who make own flight arrangements are
reminded to contact our central
reservations for updated flight
schedules. Arrive Port Elizabeth,
transfer to hotel. Remainder of day
at leisure.

10 TUESDAY
PORT ELIZABETH - GARDEN ROUTE:
We leave Port Elizabeth and head
westwards, soon reaching the
Tsitsikamma Mountains and indigenous
forests. On reaching the garden
route, there is a lunch stop
(included). Afterwards, we head to
the hotel where the rest of the
afternoon is at leisure. Overnight
in Knysna.
DAY
11 WEDNESDAY
GARDEN ROUTE:
Your first part of the morning is
spent in Knysna. Enjoy the shops and
atmosphere of this lovely town
before enjoying a lagoon cruise and
lunch (included) at the Featherbed
Nature Reserve. Whilst there enjoy a
trailer ride to the top of the
Western Head and a leisurely walk
back through the milkwood trees, for
lunch. After lunch travel aboard the
Outeniqua Choo Tjoe train to the
lakelands of Sedgefield. Dinner and
overnight in Knysna.
DAY
12 THURSDAY
KNYSNA - OUDTSHOORN:
Travel through the Outeniqua Pass to
reach Oudtshoorn, where you will
visit an Ostrich Farm for a guided
tour. The visit includes lunch, with
optional Ostrich delicacies. At the
next stop, explore the vast
limestone caverns known as the Cango
Caves. Then travel on to our hotel
for check in. Dinner and overnight
in Oudtshoorn.

13 FRIDAY
OUDTSHOORN - CAPE TOWN:
After breakfast travel through the
“Little Karoo” towards Cape
Town. After lunch (for own account)
continue the journey to Cape Town
via Montagu, arriving late afternoon
for overnight on a bed &
breakfast basis.

14 SATURDAY
CAPE TOWN (UNESCOURTED):
A full day at leisure to enjoy one
of Springbok Atlas’ Day Tours
(optional & for own account), or
explore the city on foot. Overnight
on a bed and breakfast basis.
DAY
15 SUNDAY
CAPE TOWN (UNESCOURTED):
Your day is at leisure. An
opportunity to participate in
another of Springbok Atlas’ Day
Tours (optional and for own account)
or perhaps enjoy some shopping.
Overnight in Cape Town on a bed and
breakfast basis.

16 MONDAY
CAPE TOWN:
Passengers will be transferred to
the airport, harbour or railway
station for their onward journey.
IMPORTANT: VALID PASSPORTS ARE
REQUIRED as the 16 DAY PANORAMA TOUR
(SJC-16) passes through Swaziland.
Certain passport holders require
visas. Please check this with your
travel agent before your departure.
