1 FRIDAY
WINDHOEK - 'DESERT EXPRESS' TRAIN:
Transfer from your central Windhoek
hotel or guesthouse to Windhoek
station at ±12h00 and board
luxurious ‘Desert Express’.
Enjoy comfort and style in superbly
appointed and fully air-conditioned
train. Dinner and overnight aboard
‘Desert Express’.

2 SATURDAY
SWAKOPMUND:
On arrival in Swakopmund, transfer
to hotel. Afternoon at leisure.
STN-5 tour group and guide will
arrive during the afternoon. Dinner
and overnight in Swakopmund.
DAY
3 SUNDAY
SWAKOPMUND - DAMARALAND:
Depart early morning on the salt
road towards Henties Bay, past many
pans and birdlife. Visit
Twyfelfontein and Petrified Forest
en route to Damaraland. Packed
Lunch. Arrival at our remote lodge
during the afternoon. Dinner and
overnight in Damaraland.
DAY
4 MONDAY
DAMARALAND:
Half day guided tour of the region.
You will be introduced to the rich
flora and fauna of this seemingly
lifeless semi-desert and search for
the elusive Desert Rhino and Desert
Elephant. OPTIONAL: Visit the
nomadic Ovahimba tribe (extra
surcharge and for passenger’s own
account). Return to the lodge late
afternoon. Dinner and overnight in
Damaraland.
DAY
5 TUESDAY
DAMARALAND - OTJIWARONGO:
Depart Damaraland, a rare wilderness
area, continue via Kamanjab to Outjo.
Continue to private game farm for
late afternoon game drive. Dinner
and overnight in the Otjiwarongo
region.
DAY
6 WEDNESDAY
WINDHOEK :
Early morning game drive, breakfast
thereafter. Meet Etosha Tour group
and possibly continue to Etosha
National Park. Return to Windhoek
via Okahandja, and there visit
Herero graves and local handicraft
market. Tour ends in Windhoek during
the afternoon.
