Day 4 Bangkok
Tour of the Royal Palace -complex which was the king’s official residence from 1782 to 1946 and is still used for ceremonial occasions now. Also visit the Emerald Buddha Temple -which is one of the superb temples in Thailand. At night enjoy a sumptuous and authentic Thai-style Dinner served by ladies in graceful national costumes. The evening’s entertainment is an exotic hourlong classical and folk dancing show and martial arts display. Overnight at your hotel. (B/D)
Day 5 Bangkok- Kathmandu
Depart by air to Kathmandu-the capital of Nepal. On arrival transfer to your hotel. (B)
Day 6 Kathmandu
Morning Tour of Kathmandu Valley and Patan- visit the Temple of Living Goddess-who acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence. Kasthamandap-the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of a single tree. Durbar Square-this complex of palaces, courtyards and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, used to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. Patan Durbar Square -which houses a bronze collection, is with it’s array of temples. Krishna Temple and Mahabouddha Temple-this Buddhist monument is an excellent example of terra-cotta artform which points to the skill of Patan’s ancient craftsmen with a variety of building styles. Afternoon visit to Bhadgoan - means the city of Devotees, home of medieval art and architecture. Pashupatinath Temple - one of the most important Hindu Temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated on the bank of River Bagmati, the temple is built in pagoda style with richly carved silver doors. Also visit the Bouddhanath Stupa - the biggest of its kind in the world, it stands with four pairs of eyes in the four cardinal directions keeping a watch for righteous behavior and human prosperity. Day 7 Kathmandu -Chitwan National Park
Drive to Chitwan National Park. On arrival transfer to Machan Wildlife Resort. After lunch enjoy an elephant back safari through the jungle exploring its wildlife - one-horn rhino, deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and if lucky the Royal Bengal Tiger. After dinner you are invited to join a slide presentation on Royal Chitwan National Park. Overnight at your lodge. (B/L/D)
Day 8 Chitwan National Park
Early morning nature walk. After breakfast Elephant Briefing Program. Learn more about these fascinating animals. Lunch at poolside. Relax in the afternoon. Evening take a canoe trip along the Rapti River. In the evening enjoy the Tharu Stick Dance and while having dinner by the campfire. (B/L/D)
Day 9 Chitwan- Varanasi
Transfer from Chitwan to Kathmandu by road and then board flight to Varanasi- the ‘eternal city’. On arrival transfer to your hotel. (B)
Day 10 Varanasi
Today’s early morning you will take Boat Ride on the River Ganges-Varanasi’s principal attraction is the long string of bathing ghats which line the west bank of the Ganges. Ghats are the steps which lead down to the river, and where, at the two ’burning ghats’, bodies are cremated. Then you will take Sightseeing Tour of Varanasi- visit Sarnath-the site of the Buddha’s first sermon, and has also become popular with day-trippers, who picnic among its ruins and parklands. In the afternoon visit Dhamek Stupa-also known as the Dharma Chakra Stupa, which stakes a competing claim as the exact spot of the Buddha’s first sermon. Buddhist Temple, Historical Ruins & Ashokan Pillar-minus its famous capital, now housed in the museum. The ruins of four monasteries, dating from the third to the twelfth centuries, are also contained within the compound’ all bear the same hallmark of a central courtyard surrounded by monastic cells. Day 11 Varanasi- Khajuraho
Depart by air to Khajuraho. Rest of the day at leisure. Khajuraho-once a great Chandela capital, now just a quiet village of just over 7,000 people, celebration of stone carving of celestial and terrestrial passion by the 10th century Chandella kings. Twenty-two temples are the finest expression of medieval Indian sculpture. Overnight at your hotel. (B)
Day 12 Khajuraho- Agra
Morning tour of Khajuraho city to see the world famous temples. Transfer to the airport and depart by air to Agra. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. We encourage you to take a rikshaw ride to the local market to get a flavor of the city. Overnight at your hotel. (B)

Day 13 Agra
Today you will enjoy Sightseeing of Agra-visit the world famous Taj Mahal-which is telling a love story ever told. On the death of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, in wild extravagance, Shah Jehan built her this memorial. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this poem of white marble and precious stone. Also visit the nearby Agra Fort-behind its foreboding red sandstone embattlements lie impressive buildings that recount the story of the Mughal Empire. A visit to the fort is an Agra ’must’ since so many of the events which led to the construction of the Taj took place here. Also visit a marble factory. Overnight at your hotel. (B)
Day 14 Agra -Jaipur
Drive this morning to Jaipur, en route stopping in Fatehpur Sikri - now a deserted city, but an excellent example of magnificent architecture work. Continue to Jaipur- the Pink City so named after the pink hued stone used in all the buildings. Overnight at your hotel. (B)

Day 15 Jaipur
Morning you will take elephant ride up to the Amber Fort - the palace nestled in the Aravalli Hills & the ancient capital of the State until 1728. Later continue the tour with the Sights in Jaipur - Hawa Mahal ( Palace of Winds)-which is an elaborate building encrusted with delicate honeycomb screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters could view the world outside. The City Palace-now a museum displaying fine Rajput and Moghul Paintings, rare manuscripts, royal costumes and an armoury. Jantar Mantar- begun by Jai Singh in 1728. You can get some excellent bargains on Rajasthani crafts in Jaipur. . Overnight at your hotel. (B)
Day 16 Jaipur -Delhi
Continue by road to Delhi. On arrival transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Delhi -the capital of India and the third-largest city with a long and fascinating history, founded on the site of seven historic cities, is today composed of the old city and the new, two halves of a stimulating and harmonious unity. New Delhi, a gracious, vivacious city, has multi-storied buildings, boulevards and fountains. Connaught place, the downtown area, is where you can find some excellent shops and boutiques for famous Indian silk, rugs, jewellery, paintings, brass works and antiques. Overnight at your hotel. (B)
Day 17 Delhi
City Tour of Old and New Delhi- in Old Delhi, visit the magnificent Red Fort -the fortified citadel, wears the mellowed strength and elegance of the great Mughal Empire, built of red sandstone within whose walls are marble palaces; Chandni Chowk-the main street of Old Delhi is the colorful shopping bazaar; drive pass Jamma Mosque. The impressive Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi on that fateful day of January 30th, 1948, where a solid black memorial stands in his memory. In New Delhi, The India Gate-the World War I memorial site, pass centre of all government activity. Then visit Humayun’s Tomb-built in 1565 A.D. by his grieving widow Haji Begum, the Qutub Minar; Laxmi Narayan Temple, with its profusion of Gods & Goddess from the Hindu pantheon. Day 18 Delhi -Bombay
Depart by air to Bombay- the country’s premier cultural centre. The city’s rise from the dowry of a Portuguese queen to the country’s foremost sea port, commercial centre and producer of films has been nothing short of meteoric. Today’s City Tour of Bombay will take you by a motor boat to Elephanta Caves. After returning to the city continue your tour with a visit to the Gateway of India-is a cosmopolitan industrial city with colonial architecture, towering buildings, shopping centers and hotels. The finest harbor on the west coast with secluded sunny beaches. Mahalakshmi Temple-the oldest in Bombay and appropriately for this city of business and money, dedicated to the goddess of wealth. The images of the goddess and her two sisters were said to have been found in the sea. Hanging Gardens-on top of Malabar Hill, these gardens were laid out in 1881 and are correctly known as the Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens. Marine Drive & Haji Ali Tomb-this tomb and mosque are devoted to a Muslim saint who drowned here. Here a scene of typical Indian ingenuity and resourcefulness takes place. Overnight at your hotel.
