Day 2   Kota Kinabalu- Sandakan-Sukau
Transfer to airport for flight to Sandakan. On arrival transfer to Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre. Trek for about ten minutes through the rainforest on wooden plankwalks to witness the feeding of the Orang Utans at 10:00am. Proceed to Sukau. Continue journey with a 10-minute boat ride to Sukau Rainforest Lodge for lunch. Late afternoon cruise down the Kinabatangan River to observe the amusing antics of the wild Proboscis monkeys as they settle down on treetops. Return to lodge for solar-heated hot shower, candle light dinner of rich, barbecued seafood and slide show. Overnight at the Lodge in the wilderness. (B)

Day 3   Sukau
Wake up to the calls of gibbons and hornbill. At 6:00am morning river cruise up the Kinabatangan river to the Kelenanap ox-bow lake. Take a short jungle walk along the lake while searching for wildlife. In the afternoon yet another river tour downstream in search for more wildlife. After dinner, a short night walk in search of nocturnal animals. Overnight at the Lodge. (B)

Day 4   Sukau-Sandakan-Kota Kinabalu
Retrace footsteps to Gomantong Caves. Trek for 20 minutes through the rainforest to the cave entrance. Explore the chambers in search of the cave faunas including bats, swiftlets and crabs among others. When in season, witness the collection of birds’ nets by the local using bamboo ladder poles. Continue to Sandakan for lunch and a brief City Tour before transfer to airport for flight to Kota Kinabalu. Arrive Kota Kinabalu, transfer to hotel. Overnight. (B)

Day 5            Kinabalu
Transfer to the airport for your flight. End of tour. (B)
