This
safari combines several
outstanding game viewing
areas, as well as the chance
to walk through the bush
around Lake Manyara's rim, 
which forms part of the
Great African Rift Valley.
After three nights in the
Serengeti, guests fly to
Arusha. The itinerary may
also operate in reverse.
There is also an option to
upgrade to a 4 x 4 for
safari transportation.

Day 1 Arusha - Tarangire National Park
(approximately 3 hours)
Early afternoon departure from Arusha to Tarangire, with game viewing en
route.

Tarangire National Park
Morning
and afternoon game drives.

Day 3 Tarangire - Lake Manyara
(approximately 3˝ hours)
Depart
after breakfast for Lake Manyara,
arriving in time for lunch. The
remainder of the day is on a game
drive in
Lake
Manyara National Park.

Day 4
Lake Manyara - Ngorongoro
Crater (approximately 2 hours)
After
breakfast, there is a gentle walk
around the rim of the Great Rift
Valley, escorted by a Masai guide
who is also a qualified naturalist.
He will explain some of the Masai
culture and customs, as well as the
various flora and fauna, including
information on Masai medicines taken
from plants and trees. You then
leave Manyara and drive through the
highlands to Ngorongoro.

Day 5 Ngorongoro Crater
After
an early breakfast you descend into
the Crater in a 4x4 vehicle for a
full day of game viewing with a
picnic lunch enjoyed on the Crater
floor. Late afternoon you leave the
Crater and drive back to the lodge
for the evening.

Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti
National Park (approximately 5
hours)
Depart
after breakfast and drive to the
Serengeti stopping off at Olduvai en
route. The Gorge is about 50km long
and in some places 90m deep. After
lunch, the remainder of the day is
on a game drive.

Day 7 Serengeti
National Park
Morning
and afternoon game drives.

Serengeti - Arusha
After breakfast, you’ll transfer
to the runway for the scheduled
flight to Arusha (approximately one
hour). Upon arrival, you’ll be met
and transferred for onward
arrangements.
