VIENTIANE - ARRIVAL (-/L/D)
Arrive Vientiane at Wattay Airport /
Friendship Bridge.
Transfer to hotel and lunch at the
hotel.
Vientiane 's major attractions are its
serene Budhhist monasteries
that dominate the scene on the
streets of central Vientiane.
The city has kept
its timeless charm with tree-lined
avenues, brightly
painted temples and quaint French
architecture.
Sightseeing to visit Vat Sisaket,
built in 1818 , Vat Sisaket is the oldest
original temple in Vientiane, the only to
survive from foreign invasion in 1828 .All other temples in the city
have since undergone extensive restoration
. Vat Sisaket features remarkable frescoes
and 6,840 Buddha images. Hophrakeo, once
the royal temple of Lao monarchy, Hoprakeo
was built in 1565 . It has been used as a
museum since 1970 and the main structure
which originally housed Prakeo,the Emerald
Buddha , now contains some of the finest
Buddhist
sculpture
and artifacts
found in the country. Special
displays included antique brass drums and
palm leaf manuscripts.
Patousay, this victory gate also
known as Anousavari , was constructed in
1958 .Its architecture is inspired by the
Arc of
Triumph in Paris
and That
Luang stupa. Which is the great sacred
stupa and ackground . Inside richly
decorated wooden colunm support a ceiling
vested with Dharma -wheels . In the
compound
stand
several small chapels housing
bronze Buddha image which was displayed in
Paris in 1911 . Near the compound east's
gate
stands the
royal Inside is an impressive
12 meters high funeral chariot and
various funeral urns of each royal family
member .funeral chapel . The gilt panel on
the exterior
of chapel depicts semi-erotic
episode
from Ramayana . Then take the traditional boat trip upstream on the
Mekong river to visit the famous cave of
Pak Ou housing thousands of statues of
Buddha. On the way stopover at Ban Xanghai
where people produce Lao liquor ( rice
wine) .Atfer visiting
Pakou cave , crossing Mekong river
to take picnic lunch at bamboo cottage on
the river overlooking its beautiful
scenery and Ou rivers In the afternoon,
return to Luang Prabang and continue by
car to visit Ban
Phanom, the weaving village populated
by Lu
minority originally came from
Sipsongpanna of Southern China . Almost of
villagers
are skill weavers, weaving items
can be bought in this village . Return to
hotel.

VIENTIAN-LUANG
PRABANG BY ROUTE (B/L/D)
Breakfast
at hotel.
Drive to Luang Prabang. The crown jewel of
Laos and former Lanexang,
Luang Prabang is perhaps the best
preserved traditional city in South east
Asia.
It is as sleepy town which has preserved
its long –standing reputation as a
stronghold of Lao cultures with its
splendid natural scenery and sense of
timelessness. Magical and charming, Luang
Prabang is the destinationa that every
traveller has to see once in their life
time. During 1995 Luang Prabang was voted
by UNESCO as a world heritage city.
On the way stopover to visit Phatang,
which is the mountain like the standing
stupa that no one can climb up to its top.
It is attractive and strange mountain
because of its own unique shape created by
nature.
Lunch on the way. Continue to reach Luang
Prabang. Check-in at hotel
If time permit; short city tour, visit Vat
Phousi hill for overlooking the city. The
temples on the slopes of Phousi are all of
rather recently constructed located at the
summit of the sacred hill. Phousi is
reached by 350 steps are the excellent
views of the town from the top of the
hill. Continue to visit Vat Mai, built in
1796, the five-tiered roof of the wooden
Sim in the standard of Luang Prabang
style. At the end, you will see the sunset
at Vat Siphouthabath.
Return to hotel.

03 LUANG
PRABANG – PAK OU (B/L/D)
Breakfast
at hotel.
Visit Vat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful
temple, the Sim of the Vat represents the
classic Luang Prabang temple architecture
with roofs that sweep low to the ground.
The rear wall of the Sim features an
impressive “tree of life” mosaic set
in red background. Inside richly decorated
wooden colunm suupport a ceiling vested
with Dharma-wheels. In the compound stand
several small chapels housing bronze
Buddha image which was displayed in
Paris
in 1911. Near the compound east’s gate
stands the royal inside is an impressive
12 meters high funeral chariot and various
funeral urns of each royal family member,

Mekong River to visit the famous cave of

04 LUANG
PRABANG - DEPARTURE (B/L/-)
Breakfast
at hotel.
Visit National Museum (former king's
palace), displaying a lovely collection of
personal artifacts of royal family,
photos, musical equipment and gifts that
received from foreign countries, central
market and a silver smith's.
Then transfer to the airport for departure
to Bangkok by Bangkok Airways.
