Pick
up passengers from various major Bangkok
hotels.
Depart from Bangkok to Ayuthaya, the
former capital of Thailand. The principal
sights are the gigantic bronze statues of
Wat Mongkol Borpith, the three ancient
pagodas at Wat Phra Srisanpetch and Wat
Pranangcherng.
Continue via Saraburi to Phra Buddha Badh
with its shrine of the holy footprint of
Lord Buddha.
Proceed to Lopburi for lunch.
Visit to the museum at Narai Raja Nives
Palace and near by local market where you
will see a way of life of people. Then
passing by the Prang Sam Yod (Sacred Three
Spired Pagoda) as well as the Monkey
Temple,. Proceed to Pitsanuloke and
check-in at Topland Hotel.
Dinner and accommodation.

Pitsanuloke
- Sukothai - Sri Satchanalai - Lampang

Breakfast.
Visit Wat Maha Dhat with its revered
Buddha statue, Phra Buddha Jinaraj.
Depart for Sukhothai en route short stop
at ricemill. Visit to the famous ruins of
this first capital of Thailand
(1257-1379). See Wat Maha Dhat, the
Ramkamhaeng Museum, Wat Sra Sri and Wat
Sri Chum.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Continue to Sri Satchanalai, the northern
outpost town of the Kingdom of Sukhothai,
built by King Ramkamhaeng. Visit Wat Chang
Lom, Wat Chedi Jet Thaew, Wat Nang Phya
and Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha Dhat which
stands on the site of the Khmer fort
called "Chalieng".
Proceed to Lampang and check-in at Lampang
River Lodge or Lampang Wiengthong or
similar hotel.

Depart for Ko Kah to see Wat Phra Dhat
Lampang Luang housing the only Emerald
Buddha besides the one at Wat Phra Keo in
Bangkok. Continue to visit Wat Phra Keo
Don Tao, a very interesting Burmese style
temple.
Proceed to Lampoon. Visit to the famous
Wat Haripoonchai in Lampoon built in 1157,
one of the most sacred monuments in the
north.
Continue to Chiang Mai and lunch at a
local restaurant.
Afternoon visit to the Handicraft
Villages, see the manufacturing of
lacquerware, spinning and weaving of Thai
Silk and how paper umbrellas are made.
Also visit a famous Thai wood carving
factory with possibility to buy Burmese
antiques. Check-in at Chiang Mai Plaza
Hotel

Tour. Visit the most interesting places in
Chiang Mai such as Wat Phra Singh with its
famous Buddha image, Hilltribe Museum, and
Wat Doi Suthep, tucked away in the
mountains at 1,056 meters above sea
level.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon at leisure.
Kantoke Dinner. Enjoy a typical Thai
dinner with presentation of ancient dances
from northern Thailand, followed by a
performance of dances and songs of various
hilltribes.
Accommodation at Chiang Mai Plaza Hotel.
Optional:
Opportunity to visit the city's night
market in search of bargains. |

Mai - Hmong Hilltribe Lodge

Breakfast.
Depart Chiang Mai to visit the elephant
camp to watch the elephants taking timber
in the forest. Their strength and clever
teamwork will amaze you.
Recommended
Optional :
Take a one-hour elephant riding into the
jungle surroundings.
Extra: Baht 600. - per
person.
Continue
to visit the Orchid Farm and lunch at Mae
Saa Valley Resort.
Proceed by pick-up truck to visit the Meo
Hilltribe Village at Nong Hoi Mai and
continue to Ban Meo Mae Ki. The afternoon
is at leisure to discover the many
activities in the hilltribe village.
B.B.Q. dinner at HMONG HILLTRIBE LODGE
followed by presentation of Meo dances and
overnight.
Accommodation at Hmong Hilltribe Lodge.

Hilltribe Lodge - Thatorn - Chiang Rai

Breakfast
Depart for Fang and Thatorn via Chiang
Dao. Short stop at the village of Chiang
Dao for drinks and walk around the local
market. En route visit to Huay Luek, a Meo
hilltribe village. After arrival in
Thatorn, a small village just a few
kilometers away from the Burmese border,
lunch is served at Maekok River Village
Resort.
Depart by original motor boats for a three
journey down the Kok River, passing tiny
hilltribe villages, bamboo huts jungle, a
few rapids, visit a Lahu hilltribe
village. The last stop before arriving in
Chiang Rai is made at a cave housing many
sacred statues of Lord Buddha. In the
early evening arrival in Chiang Rai.

Breakfast.
Depart Chiang Rai by minibus to visit the
Golden Triangle where the borders of
Thailand, Myanmar and Loas convene. Take a
short boat trip on the Mekong River.
Lunch at a local restaurant
Transfer to Chiang Rai Airport.
Depart Chiang Rai by TG-141.
Arrive Bangkok and transfer to your
Bangkok hotel.
