Departure Canada
Your
exotic journey to the Far East begins as you
depart Canada aboard your flight to Beijing.
Day 2
Arrive Beijing
Upon
arrive in Beijing airport where a local
representative will meet you and arrange for
your transfer to Peace Hotel or Xingqiao Hotel.
Rest of the day at free.
Overnight at your hotel.
Day 3 Beijing
Today,
a full day tour will take you to the “Eighth
Wonder of the World” – the Great Wall which
was built 2600 year ago.
In the afternoon, explore the Ming Tombs,
starting with the visit to the famous Secret
Way. A
visit to a cloisonné Factory will be arranged
on the way back to the city. In the evening, your tour manager will host a Welcoming

Day 4
Beijing
A
full day tour today will take you to the massive
Forbidden City- it was built in 17th
century with 775,000 square feet as the
residence for the several emperors and
empresses, also as the place for imperial
business during Ming and Qing dynasties, you can
explore the 15the century halls, the pavilions
and the imperial treasures, then on to the
Temple of Heaven- built in 1420, where the
emperors came to pray for a good harvest during
the first lunar month each year because of its
acoustic architectures and quality: the Summer
Palace-
which was
used by the court as a retreat from the
capital’s heat for 800 years. During the Qing
Dynasty it became a fashionable royal resort and
scene of extravagant celebrations. The Empress
Dowager Cixi made it her residence and spent
vast amounts of money (much from the state
coffers) to create a veritable Xanadu:
and Tiananmen Square-as famous as its
uses on ceremonial occasions both in the past

Day 5
Beijing – Shanghai
Today
you will take a flight to cosmopolitan Shanghai. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to
the hotel. (B)
Day 6
Shanghai
A full day tour today will take you to the Yu
Garden in the old part of Shanghai, the
Waterfront and the Children’s Palace.
At night, you will enjoy a famous
Shanghai Acrobatic Show. Overnight. (B/L)

7
Shanghai - Wuhan
Today, you will be transferred to Shanghai
airport for your flight to Wuhan.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to
board your deluxe Victoria cruiser and begin
your cruise, heading upstream. Overnight. (B)
Day
8
Yangtze
River Cruise: Chenlingji
to Yueyang
Morning arrival
at Chenlingji.
A shore excursion shows ancient Yueyang
Tower, Yueyang Mansion, Cishi Pagoda and the
Quzi and Wen temples.
At night, enjoy the Captain’s cocktail
party, followed by a Chinese dinner party.

9
Yangtze River Cruise:
San Dou Ping to Xiling Gorge /Wu
Gorge/ Wushan
Stop
at San Dou Ping to view the Three Gorges Dam.
Sail through Xiling Gorge, longest of the
famed three Gorges.
Then marvel at Wu Gorge’s deep
zigzagging valley. Overnight. (AB/L/D)
Day 10
Yangtze River Cruise:
Wushan (Three small Gorges)/Qutang
Gorge
At Wushan, take a motorboat cruise up the Daning
River’s Three Small Gorges-Dragon Gate, Misty
and Emerald.
Depart Wushan, passing through dramatic
Qutang Gorge.

Day 11
Yangtze River Cruise: Fengdu (or
Wanxian)
Take
a shore excursion at legend-rich Fengdu or
Wanxian. Sail onward, bound for Chongqing. This evening, the Captain hosts a farewell banquet featuring

12
Yangtze River Cruise: Chongqing- Xian
This morning, disembark at Chongqing and
transfer to airport for flight to Xian - the
ancient capital city today.
Upon arrival, you will be met at the
airport and transferred to the Hotel. (B)
Day 13
Xian
This
morning you’ll set off to see the Terra Cotta
Warriors, which were built to guard the
legendary tomb of Qing Shihuangdi and includes
8,000 life-size figures grouped in battle order.
After lunch, you’ll visit the Banpoo Museum-
which was discovered in 1953, is a covered
excavation that clearly shows the layout of a
Neolithic village of the Yangshao culture. and
Big Wild Goose Pagoda-
first built in AD 652 to house the sutras
collected by the wandering monk, Xuanzang, from
India. The top offers fine views across the
city. Dinner and a folk Tang dynasty show
at Tang Palace Restaurant. Overnight at Garden

Day 14
Xian - Guilin
In the morning, visit the Ancient City Wall-
it is the only well-preserved large-scale city wall surrounded by moats
in China. New Provincial Museum -
which covers the history of Xi’an since prehistoric times,

lunch, you will be transferred to the airport
for your flight to Guilin.
Upon arrival, you will be met and
transferred to the hotel. (B/L)
Day 15
Guilin
A
day to enjoy a cruise on the Li River and be
exposed to the beauty and scenery surrounding
it. Disembark
at Yangshuo and sample some of the many colorful
markets before returning by coach to Guilin.

Day 16
Guilin – Hong Kong
This
morning, you will visit the striking stalagmite
and stalactite formations of the Reed flute
Caves and Fubo Hill.
After lunch, you will be transferred to
the airport for your flight to Hong Kong.
Upon arrival in Hong Kong, you will be
transferred to the Hotel. (B/L)

17
Hong Kong
Today,
you will have a City Tour of Hong Kong-this tour
emphasis the contrasts of Hong Kong’s
lifestyle and shows off some breathtaking views
of the island.
It proceeds along winding and scenic
mountain road to Victoria Peak for a panoramic
view of the Victoria Harbor.
Then the tour heads down to the fishing
villages of Aberdeen with its colorful fishing
vessels and floating restaurants.
Drive along the southern coast of Hong
Kong Island, passing through the residential
beach resorts of Deep Water Bay and Repulse Bay.

Day 18
Back to Canada
Today,
you will be transferred to Hong Kong airport for
your flight back to Canada. (B)
