Day 1. Auckland, Waitomo, Rotorua
We depart Auckland, Crowne Plaza Hotel, at 8.30 a.m and journey south to Waitomo Caves and join a tour of the Limestone Caverns before continuing to Rotorua. Tonight enjoy a feast and cultural performance.

Day 2. Freedom Touring, Rotorua
Today you choose the experience and we will include it. Perhaps tour the Maroi Arts and Crafts Institute, visit Rainbow Springs or enjoy a guided forest walk. Perhaps a round of golf, or a lunch cruise. The choice is yours!

Day 3. Rotorua, Taupo, Wellington
Journey south to view spectacular Huka Falls then travel across the volcanic plateau of World Heritage-Listed Tongariro National Park to Wellington.

Day 4. Wellington, Nelson
Today our Inter-island cruise takes us across Cook Strait to the South Island. This afternoon journey to Nelson and visit the World of Wearable Arts museum.

Day 5. Nelson, Franz Josef Glacier
Journey along rugged coastline to Franz Josef and be amazed by the spectacular scenery. Perhaps enjoy a scenic flight (weather permitting, own expence). Tonight enjoy our West Coast Specialities Dinner.

Day 6 Franz Josef, Wanaka
We cross the magnificent Southern Alps and leave the rugged beauty of the West Coast behind. Enter the Southern Lakes district and journey to Wanaka.

Day 7. Wanaka, Freedom Touring, Dunedin
Today we journey to the East Coast and Dunedin. On arrival you choose the experience and we include it. Journey aboard the Taieri Gorge Train, tour Olveston House, Cadbury Chocolate World or Speights Brewery. Perhaps visit the Yellow Eyed Penguin or the Royal Albatross Reserves. The choice is yours!

Day 8. Dunedin, Te Anau
This morning we journey south for our spectacular journey through the Catlins district to Invercargill. Enjoy time to explore New Zealand's most southern city before continuing to Te Anau.

Day 9. Milford Sound, Queenstown
Today we experience some of New Zealand's most remote and untouched native forest as we travel to Milford Sounds. On arrival we cruise the full length of this ancient fiord (weather permitting).

Day 10. At Leisure in Queenstown
DINE AROUND DINNER
Enjoy today at Leisure (own expense). Tonight explore Queenstown with our Dine Around Dinner where you choose the restaurant and we include it ! (BD)

Day 11. Queenstown, Mt Cook
Journey through Lindis Pass to the High Country and Mt Cook National Park. Perhaps enjoy a flight over this alpine region (own expense, weather permitting). Accommodation: Mt Cook, The Hermitage. (BD)

Day 12. Mt Cook, Christchurch
Visit beautiful Lake Tekapo and view the tiny Church of the Good Shepherd before crossing the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch where your tour concludes on arrival. (B)
