DAY 1 Arrive Auckland:
You will be met and transferred to your hotel.

DAY 2 Auckland,  Rotorua: (BD)
Journey through the native forests of the Coromandel Ranges. Continue to Rotorua.
Accommodation: Rotorua, Regal Geyserland Hotel (2 nights)

DAY 3 Rotorua Sightseeing: (BD) 
Visit Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve and enjoy a tour through the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute. Continue to Rainbow Springs Nature Park. Country Homestay option available tonight.

DAY 4  Rotorua, Wanganui : (BD)
Enter Tongariro National Park where three volcanic mountains dominate the scenery. Follow the historic Whanganui River to our overnight stay.
Accommodation: Wanganui, Collegiate Hotel. 

DAY 5 Wellington, Cook Strait, Picton: (BD)
Join our Inter-island cruise to cross Cook Strait and though Queen Charlotte Sound, renowned as one of the most scenic crossing in the world. 
Accommodation: Picton, Beachcomber Hotel.

DAY 6 Picton, Hokitika, Hari Hari: (BD)    
We journey towards the wild and rugged terrain of the West Coast. Visit Punakaiki to view the pancake rock formations and ocean blowhole.
Accommodation: Hari Hari, Hari Hari Inn.

DAY 7 Hari Hari, Wanaka: (BD)
Today we view breathtaking scenery including magnificent glaciers. Perhaps enjoy a scenic flight (own expense, weather permitting).   
Accommodation: Wanaka, Mt Aspiring Hotel.

DAY 8 Wanaka, Queenstown: (B)
We follow the Kawarau Gorge to the once thriving gold-mining settlement of Arrowtown. We continue to Queenstown.

DAY 9 Queenstown at Leisure: (B)
Today is free to enjoy the activities available in this beautiful alpine resort. (own expense). 

DAY 10 Queenstown, Milford Sound: (BD)
Journey to Milford Sound. On arrival board the Milford Mariner and learn about the flora and fauna of the area with our onboard guide before anchoring in Harrison's Cove for the evening. Accommodation: Milford Sound, Milford Mariner 

DAY 11 Milford Sound, Invercargill: (BD)
Depart Milford Sound and journey to New Zealand's   southern-most city, Invercargill.  
Accommodation: Invercargill, Kelvin Hotel.

DAY 12 Invercargill, Dunedin: (BD)
Journey through the beautiful Catlins District to Dunedin, settled by the Scottish and renowned as the ‘Edinburgh of the South’. 
Accommodation: Dunedin, Pacific Park Hotel.

DAY 13 Mt Cook, Lake Ohau: (BD)
Travel past lakes of incredible colour on our journey to Mt Cook National Park. There is time available for an optional scenic flight (weather permitting, own expense) in this majestic area.

DAY 14 Lake Ohau, Christchurch: (B)
This morning visit the stone Church of the Good Shepherd, on the shores of Lake Tekapo. Cross the vast Canterbury Plains to  Christchurch. Free transfer for flights departing after 5.30 p.m.
