1 Mon. Sydney, Coffs Harbour
Depart Sydney, 8.30 a.m. Sofitel
Wentworth Hotel. Our
scenic drive takes us over the
Hawkerbury River, through the timber
country surrounding Taree to Kempsey
and on to Coffs Harbour.

2 Tue. Byron Bay, Surfers Paradise
Travel through the Pictureque
Countryside of northern New South
Wales to Byron Bay, famous for its
relaxing lifestyle and unspoilt
beaches. Nearby, Cape Byron marks
the most easterly point on the
Australian mainland. Cross over the
Queensland border to the Gold Coast.
Tonight you may like to join in the
fun at the casino or dine out (own
expense).

3 Wed. Brisbane, Sunshine Coast ,
Australia Zoo, Fraser Island
See the ancient jagged peaks of the
Glass House Mountain on our way to
Australia Zoo for a real wildlife
experience. Made famous by its
owner, 'Crocodile Hunter' Steve
Irwin. Australia Zoo houses over 500
hundred animals and gives you the
opportunity to see wild caught
crocodiles in action during the
crocodile show. We continue
via the Sunshine Coast to Hervey Bay
where we join a cruise to Fraser
Island.

4 Thur. Freedom Of Choice
Touring
Choose to join the local
Ranger for a 4WD drive
adventure tour, travelling
along Seventy-Five Mile Beach
to the Coloured Sands. Visit
historic Maheno Shipwreck and
Eli Creek, a natural
freshwater source.
Alternatively, explore the
inlets and rain forest of the
island, visiting Lake Mckenzie,
Pile Valley and Wanggoolba
Creek, or, join a cruise
watching for humpback whale
(August to October only).
Remainder of the day at
leisure or you may wish to
extend to the full day Fraser
Island tour (own expense).
Enjoy the many activities this
eco-tourist haven has on
offer. This evening, enjoy a
bushtucker talk, sampling
natural bush foods and learn
how to find and prepare them.
This is followed by our
exclusive Native Feast. Sample

5 Fri. Tropic Of Capricorn, Rockhampton
This morning we return to the
mainland, crossing the Great Sandy
Strait to Hervey Bay. Rejoining the
coach we head north to the Tropic of Capricorn
and cattle town of
Rockhampton. On arrival there is
free time to stroll the heritage
buildings and Botanic Gardens, rated
as the best in tropical Australia.

6 Sat. Mackay, Hamilton Island
Visit Henderson Park, a working
cattle station for a tour of the
property before traveling north to
Mackay, Australias main sugar
producing center. Continue through Airlie
Beach to Shute Harbour for a scenic
cruise through the calm waters of
the idyllic Whitsunday Passage.
Arrive at Hamilton Island, one of
the most famous resort island along
the picturesque Queensland coast.

Awaken
to views of the Whitsundays, enjoy
breakfast and choose how you'd
like to spend the day-a host
of options is on offer. Take a
golf buggy to explore the
island, go sailing on a
catamaran, try windsurfing or
ride a paddle-ski. You can
take a bus tour of the island
including the fauna park, feed
the fish on Catseye Beach, hit
some golf balls at the aquatic
driving range or take a walk
to Passage Peak including a
picnic lunch. Late in the day,
enjoy drinks at the Yacht Club
then choose from four of the
islands top restaurants-and no
matter which activity and
restaurant you choose, you

Say farewell to Hamilton Island this
morning as we cruise through the
Whitsunday Passage to Shute Harbour.
Journey north through the mango
plantation surrounding Bowen, then
via the twin town of Home Hill and
Ayr, to Townsville. Continue to Mission
Beach for transfer to Dunk Island,
one of the most beautiful Barrier
Reef islands. Relax and unwind with
two nights on this idyllic island
resort.

9 Tue. Tropical Dunk Island
Today has been left at leisure for
you to relax at the resort or
explore the nearby reef and rain
forest. (BD)

10 Wed. Freedom Of Choice Touring, Skyrail
Cableway, Port Douglas
We travel to the picturesque
Mareeba Wetlands where a
choice of touring activity
awaits. Choose to join a
guided boat cruise on Clancy's
Lagoon. Alternatively, paddle
yourself around these calm
waters in a handmade wooden
canoe or take a walking tour
through the surrounding
bushland (seasonal). This afternoon,
join the
Skyrail Cableway and travel
above the canopy of the
magnificent rain forest.
Travel along the coastline,
taking in view of the Coral
Sea to Port Douglas, renowned
for its golden palm-fringed
beaches. Tonight relax with
pre-dinner
drinks and canapes in one of the Tree Houses
at the resort, before our Dine Around
Dinner -choose between the
Outback Bar and Grill or a
select menu at the seafood
restaurant, The Wharf.

Touring, Cairns
Choose how you'd like to spend
the day. Visit the unique
Rainforestation. Enjoy a
performance by the Pamagirri
Aboriginal Dancers and see
native flora and fauna
including Koalas. Later ride
aboard the scenic Kuranda
Railway, passing waterfalls as
we journey down the range.
Alternatively, choose to
discover the beauty of Cape
Tribulation on a 4WD safari.
Explore this wilderness region
and the oldest rain forest on
earth. Travel through the
national park and see some of
the most remote coastline in
Australia. Enjoy a walk in the
rain forest, a barbecue lunch
and a swim in a secluded
waterhole. Another adventure
option is to go white water
rafting on the Barron River.

Barrier Reef Cruise
Cruise to the Great Barrier Reef,
undoubtedly one of the world's most
spectacular natural wonders. Visit Fitzroy Island,
one of the reefs secluded islands.
Enjoy time to explore the fringing
reefs teeming with marine life, take
a rain forest walk or relax on the
white coral beaches. Continue to
Moore Reef on the Great Barrier
Reef. Swim and Snorkel or view coral
from a semi-submersible craft. You
also have the chance to join the
exclusive Sea Walker to see the reef
in remarkable details (own expense).
A lunch of local seafood, salads and
tropical fruits is included. Tonight
enjoy our Farewell Dinner by the
