Day 1: Arrive Auckland
You will be met on arrival at Auckland Airport and transferred to your hotel (flights anytime). The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Auckland.

Overnight: Rydges Auckland (standard), Carlton Hotel (first class) or Heritage Tower - Superior Rooms (deluxe), Auckland.

Day 2: Waitomo – Rotorua
Travel south and enjoy lunch and a guided tour of the Glow-worm Grotto. Later, continue to Rotorua. This evening enjoy a Maori Hangi dinner and concert on a marae.

Overnight: Lake Plaza Rotorua (standard), Rydges Rotorua (first class) or Millennium Hotel (deluxe), Rotorua, 2 nights. (BL) (HD)

Day 3: Rotorua Sightseeing
Visit Rainbow Springs, the Rainbow Farm Show and Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve. This afternoon is at leisure. (B)

Day 4: Rotorua – Queenstown
You will be transferred to Rotorua Airport for your flight to Queenstown (flights to arrive prior to 4.00pm). You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. This evening board the T.S.S. Earnslaw for a cruise and dinner at Walter Peak Station.

Overnight: Quality Resort Terraces (standard), Copthorne Hotel & Resort Queenstown Lakefront (first class) or Millennium Hotel (deluxe), Queenstown, 3 nights. (B) (HD)

Day 5: Milford Sound Cruise
Travel to Fiordland National Park and join your Milford Sound cruise on this majestic fiord (road and weather permitting). Return to Queenstown. (BL)

Day 6: Queenstown at leisure
Today is at leisure. Perhaps take an optional jet boat ride. (B)

Day 7: Mount Cook – Depart Christchurch
Depart Queenstown and travel via Mount Cook National Park. Perhaps take an optional scenic flight. Continue to Lake Tekapo and view the Church of Good Shepherd, before arriving in Christchurch at approximately 6.45pm. (B)
