 Day
1: Arrive Alice Springs – Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Depart Alice Springs at 7.30am and travel through the West MacDonnell
Ranges. Visit a camel farm where there is a time
for an optional camel ride. Explore Kata Tjuta,
then enjoy a spectacular sunset over Uluru while
enjoying a complimentary glass of wine.
Overnight:
Outback Pioneer Cabins (lodge), Outback Pioneer
Hotel (standard), Desert Gardens Hotel (first
class) or Sails in the Desert Hotel (deluxe),
Ayers Rock Resort.
Day
2: Uluru (Ayers Rock) – Depart Alice Springs
Rise
early for sunrise over Uluru (optional) and to climb
the Rock. Tour the monolith's base and visit the
informative Uluru-Kata
Tjuta Cultural Centre. Alternatively,
join an Aboriginal guide on the famous Liru Walk
(extra cost, please request at time of booking).
Return to Alice Springs, arriving at
approximately 7.45pm.
